I already have a domain name - can I use an online website builder?

A friend of mine who was a computer geek got the domain for me, then we stopped speaking....so I have it now, and dont know what to do with it....

But I would like to do something with it.....

Is there such a thing as a website building website?
better yet, one thats free?
I have the domain name through GoDaddy.com if that tells you anything
