Default RSS feed on my local machine within an HTML document?

I tried with rss2html.php and just got frustrated. Please help? Step-by-step instructions? Thanks!!!
or XML feed- idk if that means anything different; I want to get the homestar runner podcast xml feed (http://podstar.homestarrunner.com/podcast.xml ) on my homemade html homepage.
